Music Producer,
Composer & DJ/Artist
As a music producer, composer and artist, I not only make successful pop and scene music under different aliases, but also do sounddesign and produce/compose for other artists, film and media projects as well as immersive experiences. But none of my stories and journeys in my life are as nearly as incredible and unbelievable as the one I am going to tell you now:
LASERKRAFT 3D
If you are German speaking you'll pretty sure know our song „Nein, Mann! (Ich will noch nicht geh'n)“. As Laserkraft 3D, Tim Hoffmann and I conquered the Top10 charts in five European countries and got at least nominated for almost all important music and music video awards in Germany. With our unique style we proudly influenced parts of the pop culture. I.e. The legendary sampler CD ‘Bravo Hits’ based its design on our music video for one issue. Neon and laser parties suddenly became popular again and when people learn German at the Geothe Institute or in Denmark with the textbook ‘Greif zu’, they learn our song lyrics as a worksheet.

Following: A pretty wild ride
After my bachelor's thesis on ‘Effect mechanisms of viral marketing campaigns’ and the founding of Laserkraft 3D with Tim Hoffmann, I wanted to aim high. But we didn't expect to shoot that high! The first attempt hit the Zeitgeist perfectly and one viral hit later we were on the big festival and TV stages. Maximum overload with maximum fun.
Influence on pop culture and youth
Not only did the legendary ‘Bravo Hits’ design their cover after our video, we were also available as trading cards and on a Zalando Special Music T-shirt edition. ‘It's laser how you go!’ Not only did many pupils in Germany dedicate their secondary school graduation motto to this sentence, but our free word creation using the noun ‘laser’ as an adjective made it into the dictionary - and almost became the youth word of the year. In the end, ‘swag’ won this year. Epic fail! I mean… even Dieter Bohlen praised his candidates on the TV Show "Deutschland Sucht den Superstar" with ‘voll laser’ - and he should know what's cool!
Speaking of media stars: one of the most legendary comedians in Germany, Otto Waalkes, parodied our hit ‘Nein, Mann!’ on his shows. And the once most famous Youtubers in Germany, Y-Titty, became popular, inter alia, with their ‘Nein, Mann!’ parody.
In the Netherlands, outside of Amsterdam, there is even a whole Festival officially called after one line of our famous lyrics: „Komm schon Alter".
We were guests several times on "MTV Home", the show that made Joko & Klaas famous. We were guests on the most relevant Central European radio stations, on web shows such as Rocket Beans, and hosted a music show in Austria. We played live on VIVA and had an appearance on the RTL Chartshow. To our delight, our work was showered with nominations and awards and we suddenly started playing outside of Europe, for example in Azerbaijan and Mexico.
Together with the agency Scholz & Volkmer, we created the soundtrack for the interactive online commercial for Coca-Cola, which rendered the viewers' names onto the Coke bottles in real time in the music video. The entire campaign was awarded the Golden Effie.

Learning German with Laserkraft 3D
The Goethe Institute has selected our song ‘Nein, Mann!’ worldwide as teaching material for students learning German because of its polularity and the accompanying music video because of its non-verbal narrative style using pictograms and symbols. And if you are learning German at school in Denmark with the textbook ‘Greif zu!’, you will find information and work materials on the artists Beethoven, Falko and us, Laserkraft 3D, in the ‘Music’ section. That is still super absurd for us tbh…
